Day-to-day responsibilities
The Finance Manager will help develop a high-quality finance team for our fast-growing FinTech business, focusing on delivering excellent service to our stakeholders.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage finance operations, including purchase ledger, international control, and query management.
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Prepare financial statements for audits.
* Handle tax compliance (sales tax, R&D, income, and corporate tax) and ensure deadlines are met.
* Complete reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
* Resolve internal and external queries promptly.
* Maintain financial controls and ledger accuracy.
* Support strategic planning and finance projects.
* Build relationships with external advisors and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
* Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
* Proven technical ability
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to reconcile complex accounts
* Excellent communication and reporting skills
* Flexible and able to prioritize
* Customer-focused with departmental commitment
Preferred Experience
Experience with international finance, especially US and Europe, is a plus.
