Job Description
3. Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
4. Reconcile supplier statements to ensure account accuracy.
5. Handle payment runs and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers.
6. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
7. Assist in month-end closing activities related to the purchase ledger.
8. Support the finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks as required.
9. Communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers.
10. Identify and implement process improvements within the purchase ledger function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Purchase Ledger Clerk should have:
11. Experience in a similar role - Essential
12. Strong knowledge of purchase ledger processes and accounting systems - Essential
13. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
15. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
16. Strong communication skills for liaising with suppliers and colleague
