About the Role
Seeking an experienced senior consulting executive to lead Logistics Business Transformation advisory programmes within Supply Chain, spearheading end‑to‑end consulting services from strategy to operational model redesign and global capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute market awareness and launch initiatives to grow the Logistics consulting business.
* Identify and create new business opportunities across the UK market and with UK‑headquartered global corporates; respond to RFP/RFI requests to broaden footprint.
* Establish trusted advisor relationships with C‑suite and business leaders, driving client value and consulting engagements.
* Create and collate intellectual capital, viewpoints and knowledge initiatives that strengthen Capgemini Invent’s external reputation.
* Lead, develop and engage Capgemini Invent resources to deliver value, ensuring quality and client impact.
* Recommend short‑ and long‑term value creation opportunities based on client needs and market dynamics.
* Drive internal contribution through campaign development, think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development and offer development.
* Support learning & development, including training and certification pathways for self and teams.
* Support client account leadership in pricing, delivery expectations and issue resolution.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organisation and secure peer support for consulting solutions.
* Strong proposition building and delivery experience.
* Experience in a major consulting firm or an industry leadership position (Director level or higher) with consultancy background.
* Ability to generate ~£2m of consulting revenues per annum; proven sales experience.
* Experience in Logistics programme/project engagement management focused on transformation.
* Extensive supply‑chain logistics experience, including transportation, warehousing and core logistics operations.
* Experience in establishing regional transportation desks or global ocean control towers.
* Knowledge of integrated logistics solutions across WMS, TMS, OMS and core ERP systems.
* Proven track record of developing and coaching teams (own and client).
* Relevant industry expertise: CPRD, Defence, MALS, or ETU sectors.
* Capability to scope, position, sell and deliver end‑to‑end consulting services across logistics strategy, diagnostics, rapid cost reduction, operating model, GBS design and transformation programmes.
