Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Fixed term contract until February 2027 or secondment.
We are looking for a newly qualified Occupational Therapist to join our occupational therapy rotation. The rotation is six months and includes hospital and community services such as orthopaedics, home first, inpatient therapies, surgery, stroke, social services, community therapy, palliative care, intermediate care, paediatric services and learning disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Assess and treat patients using a range of assessment and treatment techniques relevant to the specialist area of rotation.
* Work within effective multidisciplinary teams.
* Communicate effectively and adapt communication style to patients, carers and staff.
* Be an effective team player, inspirational, flexible, adaptable, enthusiastic and fully committed to patient‑focused, clinically effective and efficient services.
* Work flexibly, including weekends, late hours and bank holidays on a rota basis.
Qualifications
* Newly qualified Occupational Therapist.
* Excellent clinical reasoning and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to apply a range of assessment and treatment techniques and approaches.
