A lovely family based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, is seeking a Part-time Nanny Housekeeper to care for their school-aged child while keeping the home clean and well-maintained. The role also includes cooking and preparing meals as required. The family has a dog that will need walking on Saturdays, so a pet-friendly candidate would be ideal. A driver with a full licence would be an advantage but is not essential. A valid First Aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Wednesday from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Friday from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, approximately 15 hours per week
Duties include:
Carry out ironing
Manage laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding
Take care of delicate and important household items
Hoover and mop floors to maintain cleanliness
Clean windows, cupboards, surfaces, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms
Organise wardrobes and maintain tidy living spaces
Assist with homework and provide educational support
Create engaging and interactive activities to support the child’s learning and academic development
Encourage early literacy by reading books with the child
Engage the child in play, creative projects, and outdoor activities such as visits to the park
Escort the child to and from school, after-school activities, playdates, and appointments
Wash, dress, and maintain proper hygiene for the child
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the child’s needs
