Job description
This Contract is Inside IR35
Hybrid working (2 days on site)
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading the integration of digital-to-digital, digital-to-physical, and physical-to-physical systems.
2. Developing and deploying control software using PLC programming (Beckhoff preferred), Python, or C#.
3. Contributing to the design and implementation of Digital Twin technologies to simulate and optimise real-world manufacturing.
4. Interfacing with robotics, machine vision, sensors, and verification technologies.
5. Collaborating across software, hardware, and automation teams on rapid R&D cycles.
6. Supporting continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments.
Job Requirements:
7. Experience in systems integration within manufacturing, automation, or industrial environments.
8. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Beckhoff), Python, or C#.
9. Demonstrated ability to work across hardware and software boundaries in real-world systems.
10. Strong problem-solving mindset and hands-on technical approach.
Nice to Have:
11. Experience in Digital Twin development or immersive simulation (Unity).
12. Exposure to metrology, machine vision, or non-destructive testing (NDT).
13. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and industrial deployment.
14. Background in process improvement, lean manufacturing, or Industry 4.0 principles.
