Be the Difference Every Child Deserves – Behaviour Buddy Needed in Heysham (LA3) Do you have a passion for making a meaningful impact in children's lives? Are you calm, patient, and resilient, with a knack for supporting young people who face behavioural challenges? Teaching Personnel is seeking a compassionate and committed Behaviour Buddy to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in Heysham (LA3). This full-time role is ideal for someone who thrives on helping children overcome obstacles and reach their full potential. Your Role As a Behaviour Buddy, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs Use tailored strategies to encourage positive behaviour and active engagement Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to foster a nurturing learning environment Be a consistent, trusted adult who helps pupils feel safe, supported, and understood ✅ What We’re Looking For A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach Confidence in managing behaviour and supporting pupils with SEN Excellent communication and teamwork skills Experience in education, youth work, or care (desirable but not essential) What You’ll Gain Competitive daily pay Access to ongoing CPD including behaviour management and SEN training Clear pathways for career progression into SEN, pastoral, or teaching roles Dedicated consultant support and a welcoming school community ⏳ Apply Now If you're ready to make a real difference in Heysham, we’d love to hear from you.
