The Diabetes Account Specialist role focuses on the commercial performance and positioning of NN diabetes medicines within a geographical territory, primarily through securing sales.
Key responsibilities include:
* Increasing prescribing of promoted brands among specialist and primary care clinicians
* Developing brand advocates across healthcare settings
* Building clinical confidence among healthcare professionals to initiate and manage patients on NN Diabetes products
* Using an omnichannel approach with visuals and digital aids in face-to-face and remote interactions
* Understanding customer needs to optimize engagement frequency through multiple channels
* Building and managing account plans at primary and secondary care levels
Experience required:
* ABPI qualified with a good understanding of the NHS and a desire to improve patient outcomes
* Skills in Key Account Management and business planning
* Strong listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Excellent commercial acumen and sales abilities
* Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Proven success in delivering solutions and exceeding sales targets
* Excellent communication skills for building internal and external partnerships
* Proficiency in using communication channels to improve customer experience
* A strong commitment to enhancing patient care
