As the Maintenance Technician at Penvale Lakes Lodges, you will manage the day to day maintenance of a newly acquired family-run, holiday lodge park. You will report directly to the owners of Penvale Lakes Lodges, and be accountable for the general upkeep, maintenance and presentation of the park and holiday lodges. This position offers a unique opportunity for someone who is looking for a varied maintenance role, to work in a beautiful location, and help drive the growth and success of the business. We are looking for a motivated and driven individual who has good attention to detail and passion in what they do.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day to day maintenance of park and lodges.
* Collaborate and communicate effectively with Park Manager to ensure high standards of the park grounds and lodges are maintained at all times.
* Effectively manage and schedule maintenance jobs in order of priority.
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with other staff members to manage and schedule maintenance duties during days where there is a change of guests.
* Alongside Park Manager ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Duties

* Maintain park grounds to highest standards. Jobs on grounds include but are not limited to grass cutting, hedge trimming, woodland maintenance, landscaping, path/road repairs and painting.
* Maintain lodges to highest standard. Jobs in lodges include but are not limited to basic plumbing work, basic electrical work, general repairs, painting and basic carpentry.
* Communicate effectively with guests when required, and ensure their requests or queries are dealt with promptly and reasonably.
* Communicate work with external suppliers and contractors when required.
* Collaborate with Park Manager to ensure adequate stocks of spare parts and equipment for timely repairs.
* Work effectively with all other team members to help create a positive working environment.

Qualifications

* Mechanical knowledge and maintenance experience.

Hours and Benefits

* Hours will be 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
* Bank holidays will be worked, with time off in lieu provided.
* A 6 month probationary period will apply.
* Salary: £28,000 per annum.
