Stores Operative required for a key engineering client based in Southampton on permanent basis.
As a stores operative you would be working Monday to Friday, (Apply online only) with a 30 min lunch break, 35-hour week. This comes with a salary of £27000 - £28000 a year.
Stores Operative Responsibilities:
Unloading and reloading wheel sets
Unloading and move parts and components around depot
Fuel checks on locomotives, topping up where required
Ensuring all parts and tools are topped up and located accordingly
Stock Takes
Stores Operative Competencies Required:
Forklift license – up to 5 tonnes
Driving license
Happy to count stock and report back
Picking material
Packaging material for dispatch
