Overview
SEN Learning Support Assistant at a special needs high school in Salford. Full time: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm. Start ASAP. Pay: approx. £90-100/day DOE, PAYE (no umbrella company). Potential to move to permanent for the right person.

The Role
* Support a class of up to 10 pupils with Communication, Sensory, Social & Emotional needs.
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support, adapting your approach to each pupil's needs.
* Use positive reinforcement and behaviour management techniques.
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, parents, SLT and external professionals.
* Monitor and report on behaviour, incidents, disclosures, collaborating with Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL).
School Environment
* Special school for students aged 9-19 with moderate and/or complex learning difficulties.
* Rated Outstanding by Ofsted.
* Small, well-resourced classes; strong support provision; nurturing, inclusive atmosphere.
What We Need from You
* Previous classroom experience working with SEN pupils.
* Up-to-date DBS (or willingness to apply); right to work in UK; professional references covering past two years, ID and proof of address in the UK.
* Reliability, empathy, dedication & a teamwork ethos are a must!
