Location
Warrington, Maple House Rehabilitation Unit is an independent rehabilitation service for men with complex mental health needs, including acquired brain injury. It is situated in the heart of Warrington with excellent transport links and is easily accessible.
About the Service
We focus on nurturing a positive and therapeutic environment that enables recovery and helps people fulfill their individual potential. The service operates 24/7, with shift patterns including weekends, bank holidays, and nights. Standard shifts are 12 hours during the day.
Role and Responsibilities
* Support the service in equipping service users with skills for community living and increased independence.
* Provide an effective alternative to higher levels of secure care and make a positive difference in the lives of those supported.
* Implement an individualised, person-centred approach, tailoring rehabilitation programs to the goals of the men in care.
* Support pathways to our affiliate supported living service where appropriate and agreed.
* Receive training to join as a Recovery Worker, with valued support and career development opportunities.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to support decision-making and community access for service users.
* Promote recovery and confidence through skill development and support for independent living.
