Requirements
Must have:
- 5 years as a Presales Solutions Architect (or similar) working closely with customers in the sales cycle. - Background in technical pre-sales support in Managed WAN/LAN Services, ideally with Cisco, Extreme, or Fortinet technology. - Proven experience in network design, bespoke customer solutions, and documentation. - WAN knowledge: Leased Lines, Carrier Ethernet, EFM, xDSL. - LAN knowledge across DC, core, aggregation, and access layers. - Up-to-date skills in SDN, SD-WAN, NFV, and network virtualization. - Knowledge of Wi-Fi standards: CAPWAP, WPA, 802.1X, mesh, and controllers. - Strong communication skills. - UK driving licence and ability to pass BPSS and other clearance checks.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Sales & Account teams to understand customer needs and attend meetings and reviews. - Design tailored LAN & WAN solutions that align with our product set. - Support customers throughout the process, providing clear and confident guidance. - Produce professional documentation like SOWs, HLDs, and schematics. - Collaborate with Sales, Service Delivery, and Account Management teams to win new business and support renewals. - Track and manage activity in our CRM, contributing to a pipeline worth over £1m Gross Margin each year. - Optimize every solution for profitability, reliability, and long-lasting value.

We are looking for a Senior Presales Solutions Architect to join our team in either Manchester or Birmingham.
