About the Role
Liberty is seeking a Retrofit Consultant based in Cardiff or the surrounding home counties. This full-time, permanent position offers progression within the company. You will work in the NetZero Collective, contributing to decarbonisation efforts across the UK. The role involves travel across the country to coordinate retrofit projects, with the flexibility to cluster remote visits efficiently.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborate with clients to map their decarbonisation journey.
2. Provide funding support and build trusted client relationships.
3. Drive business development within social housing or local authority sectors.
4. Oversee Retrofit Assessors delivering PAS2035 services nationwide.
5. Represent NetZero Collective at events and meetings.
6. Manage systems, databases, and quality processes.
7. Support team members and serve as a Retrofit Coordinator from inception to evaluation.
8. Demonstrate expertise in building services, especially heating and ventilation.
9. Exhibit strong project management and organizational skills.
10. Work independently, seeking guidance when needed.
11. Travel regularly across the UK to client sites.
Desired Experience
* Lived experience of domestic retrofit works and working with refurbishment clients.
* Understanding of construction industry roles and structures.
* Experience with building energy modelling (SAP, PHPP, etc.).
* DEA/Retrofit Assessor accreditation.
Ideal Candidate
* Level 5 Diploma in Domestic Retrofit Coordination and Risk Management.
* Accreditation as a Retrofit Coordinator.
* Experience with scheme-specific P&L management.
* Background in domestic building retrofit and construction or M&E management.
* Proficiency with MS Office and Microsoft 365.
* Deep understanding of building physics principles related to retrofit energy efficiency.
* Full driving license and access to a car with business insurance.
