This is a client-facing role that offers the opportunity to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, from instruction to completion, while developing strong relationships with a loyal local client base.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including:
o Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
o Remortgages and transfers of equity
o Lease extensions
o New builds and shared ownership (desirable)
* Conduct client meetings and maintain a high standard of client care throughout the process.
* Liaise with estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and other parties to ensure smooth progression of files.
* Ensure compliance with firm policies, SRA regulations, and CQS protocols.
* Use case management systems efficiently to keep files up to date and well-organised.
Key Requirements
* Qualified Licensed Conveyancer (CLC), Solicitor, or Legal Executive with relevant conveyancing experience.
* Minimum of 5 years’ PQE (Post Qualification Experience) in residential conveyancing.
* Strong client care skills with a friendly and professional manner.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team player.
* Commercial awareness and a practical approach to problem-solving.
