Key Responsibilities
In this Head Chef position, you will:
* Lead the full kitchen operation, reporting to the Catering Manager
* Oversee daily catering for 5,000 day students and 73 boarding students
* Manage an in-house hospitality service
* Guide, support and organise a brigade of 15-20 staff
* Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and consistency
What we're looking for
To succeed as our next Head Chef, you will:
* Be an experienced Chef with a background in high-volume catering
* Bring strong leadership experience within large kitchen teams
* Demonstrate excellent culinary skills and creativity as a Chef xsngvjr
* Have solid knowledge of HACCP, food safety and health & safety regulations
* Show strong budgeting, costing and waste-reduction skills
* Be organised, calm under pressure, and passionate about catering for young people as a Chef
