Job Description:
The Resolute Group is proud to be working in partnership with an international engineering and design consultancy, supporting the strategic growth of their M&E division. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior or Associate Electrical Engineer to take on a key leadership role within the Data Centre Projects team, with responsibility for project delivery, technical oversight, and client engagement.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the electrical engineering design and delivery of major data centre projects across the UK and Europe
* Oversee the technical work of junior and mid-level engineers, ensuring high-quality, code-compliant solutions
* Manage client relationships and act as the technical point of contact throughout project life cycles
* Support the development of project proposals, resourcing plans, and fee estimates
* Coordinate with other MEP disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure cohesive and efficient project integration
* Provide expert input into electrical systems design including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators, and containment strategies
* Ensure projects align with relevant building regulations, codes, and client standards
* Participate in internal design reviews, QA/QC procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the team’s technical development
* Promote sustainability and innovation in all project phases
Experience:
* Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering (BEng / MEng or equivalent)
* Chartered or working towards Chartered Engineer status (CEng)
* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in building services / M&E design, preferably with exposure to data centres, critical systems, or large commercial projects
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including HV/LV systems and resilience planning
* Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM coordination tools
* Demonstrated experience in client liaison and project leadership
