About the role : As a Key Worker, you will inspire, support and challenge your participants to overcome barriers and move confidently into training, further education or employment. You will manage a caseload, build trusted relationships, and deliver tailored, practical support that makes a real difference to individual outcomes. This is a varied, people focused role requiring strong engagement skills, adaptability and a genuine passion for supporting people. We will interview all disabled applicants who meet the minimum criteria and make reasonable adjustments to ensure no candidate is disadvantaged Key responsibilities: • Manage a caseload through proactive engagement with communities, schools, partners and referral organisations. • Complete assessments to understand individual aspirations, skills, experiences and barriers. • Design, deliver and regularly review personalised action plans that support progression and achievement. • Provide effective one to one support to reduce barriers for your participants allowing them to reach individual goals. • Monitor progress, maintain accurate records and adapt support to achieve positive outcomes and meet KPIs. Required criteria: • Experience supporting individuals with barriers to employment, including long term unemployment, health conditions or complex life circumstances. • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage, motivate and positively challenge others. • Ability to deliver person centred, outcome focused support, including action planning, motivating and sustaining outcomes through continuous support. • Strong organisational and admin skills with experience of working in a performance or target driven environment. Desirable criteria: • Experience of working across multi agencies • Existing knowledge of the local labour market and support services • A proactive, solutions focused approach with a track record of driving positive change.
