We are working with a well-established and growing engineering manufacturing business seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their commercial team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a customer-facing role within a technical environment, where you will play a key part in managing client relationships, coordinating orders, and driving account growth.
The RoleYou will take ownership of a portfolio of customer accounts, acting as the main point of contact and ensuring a high level of service throughout the full order lifecycle.
Responsibilities will include:
Managing day-to-day communication with customers and acting as their internal representative
Coordinating orders from placement through to delivery, working closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams
Monitoring schedules, resolving issues, and ensuring on-time delivery
Supporting commercial activities including quotations, cost tracking, and margin awareness
Preparing and presenting customer performance data and KPIs
Building strong, long-term relationships to support account growth and customer satisfaction
Collaborating cross-functionally to support new projects and continuous improvement initiativesAbout You
Experience in account management or customer-facing roles within manufacturing or engineering
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of revenue and margin
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Experience with MRP/ERP systems and handling complex order processes
Ideally some exposure to electronics, electro-mechanical, or technical productsWhat’s on Offer
Salary from £35,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience)
