What You’ll Be Doing
* Responsible for the timely delivery and collection of food supplies and hardware to various locations within the college grounds
* Assist in the preparation of hot and cold beverages for delivery to various locations across site
* Maintain the company van both internally and externally, including completion of van checklists in line with Health and Safety requirements
* Act as banksman when required in line with Health and Safety and Manual Handling regulations
* Manually handle all waste including recyclable products
* Understand and comply with statutory health, hygiene and safety, quality standards, including COSHH and HACCP
* Maintain a high standard of dress and personal hygiene
* Attend meetings and training sessions as required
* Report any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss or damage and take appropriate action
* Carry out any reasonable request from any member of the Management team within the general scope of the job
* Promote a friendly safe working relationship with colleagues
What You’ll Bring
* Previous experience in a similar role/hospitality/food delivery
* Must have a Full UK Driver's Licence
* Be adaptable and flexible with working patterns when required
* Reliable, discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
* Problem solving skills
* Self-reliance and self-motivation
* Stay calm under pressure and high level of self-motivation; ability to set high standards and strive for continuous improvement
* Ability to act on own initiative and work effectively as part of a team
