The Role
Based permanently at the Milton Keynes office, you'll report directly to the Financial Controller and play a pivotal role in delivering financial excellence across this dynamic professional services firm. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare comprehensive management accounts and source documentation to drive business performance insights
* Execute quarterly VAT compliance processes and oversee payment authorization procedures
* Maintain fixed asset registers with full documentation control and approval processes
* Coordinate monthly bank reconciliations and financial system closing procedures
* Support annual budget development and group consolidation activities
* Process intercompany billing cycles and maintain cross-entity reconciliations
* Facilitate audit coordination and prepare year-end working papers
* Manage debtor provisioning and work-in-progress analysis with department heads
* Oversee statutory filing requirements and regulatory compliance documentation
* Support expense management system queries and travel coordination issues
* Develop comprehensive process documentation for all financial procedures
Essential Requirements
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification or equivalent professional experience
* Strong Excel and accounting systems proficiency
* Commercial mindset with proven ability to drive efficiencies
