We're looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Sport Zone Assistant to join our team and help make the Oaklands Sports Zone a safe, welcoming, and vibrant hub for students, staff, and the wider community. This is your chance to be at the heart of college life, support multi-sports programmes, and help grow our community and commercial sports offerings.

From gym sessions to multi-sports classes, community events, and beyond, we're looking for someone ready to dive in, take ownership, and help us deliver a first-class sporting experience.
Your Day-to-Day Impact:
Facility Operations – Keep the Sports Zone running smoothly Set up equipment, maintain safety standards, and ensure all areas are clean, welcoming, and ready for action. Lock up responsibly at the end of the day.
Customer Service & Bookings – Be the friendly face of the Sports Zone. Greet users, manage bookings, respond to enquiries, and ensure everyone has a great experience.
Sales & Community Engagement – Drive bookings, promote events and facilities, and help us build relationships with local schools, clubs, and community partners.
Gym & Classes Support – Supervise gym sessions, provide inductions, and assist with multi-sports classes and holiday camps. Support students and community members of all abilities.
Health & Safety – Ensure all activities and equipment are safe, follow safeguarding guidelines, and be a responsible point of contact in emergencies.
Administration & Retail – Help with equipment stock, online bookings, and retail operations, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Sports Zone.

You're proactive, flexible, and passionate about sport and fitness. You thrive on working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and love delivering excellent customer experiences. You're confident, reliable, and ready to work evenings and weekends to make sure the Sports Zone runs at its best.
You'll bring:
* Great communication and customer service skills
* Experience in leisure, sports, or fitness environments
* IT skills, including Microsoft Office and booking systems
* A flexible, problem-solving mindset
Bonus points if you have:
* A Level 2 Gym Instructor or Sports Coaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
* First Aid training (or willingness to train)
* Experience delivering multi-sports classes or camps
Hours will vary across the week, candidates should be able to work between Monday to Sunday 8am-10:30pm
This shifts will be allocated base on need and customer bookings.
