We’re looking for a hands-on R&D Engineering Team Lead to guide our forward-thinking engineering group.
You’ll drive projects from concept through design, prototyping, testing, and production—leveraging customer feedback and performance data to set direction and ensure results.
What You’ll Do:

Lead and mentor engineers through the full product development cycle, from concept to launch

Shape product strategy by analysing market trends and user feedback for continuous improvements
*
Use data-driven decision making to overcome engineering challenges and measure outcomes
*
Oversee bespoke projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality targets
*
Provide high-level technical guidance and support for products in the field
*
Champion emerging technologies and best practices, keeping the team at the cutting edge
What You’ll Bring:
*
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline
*
Significant product development experience with proven leadership in engineering teams
*
Strong 3D CAD skills (Autodesk Inventor preferred)
*
Comfortable with technical documentation, MS Office, and ideally ERP/MRP systems
*
Proactive leader with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement
*
Excellent communicator who can influence stakeholders and motivate teams
*
Must have UK work eligibility and a full UK driving licence
