Business Analyst Contract Type Permanent Working Pattern Full time - flexible working may be considered Working Hours 35 hours per week Salary £44,076.94 - £47,000 per annum Location Options Birmingham with part of the week working from home Function Type Corporate Functions (HR, Finance, Project Management, IT, Risk and Audit) About the Department Our Business Improvement team plays a vital role in driving organisational change and delivering strategic solutions. We work collaboratively across the business to analyse requirements, design processes, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. The Role We are recruiting a Business Analyst to join our team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise across multiple projects, including IT, CRM, business change, and process improvement. You will gather and analyse robust business requirements, design and re-engineer processes, and specify changes to systems and ways of working. Reporting to the Business Analyst Team Manager, you'll help deliver innovation and ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions. What's in it for you Involvement in diverse, large-scale projects and programmes that shape organisational success Opportunities to develop your professional career and expand your expertise Collaborative working environment focused on continuous improvement Hybrid working - 1-2 days per week in Birmingham office Flexible working within full-time hours Competitive benefits package including pension, holiday trading scheme, and wellbeing support What we're looking for Essential: Strong process design and re-engineering skills, including process mapping using tools such as Visio or other modelling tools Experience with industry-standard methods and techniques (e.g., BPMN, Use Cases, SWOT analysis, Five Whys, Lean Six Sigma, wireframes) Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively, with an innovative mindset Experience delivering business analysis and IT change to achieve process improvements and cost savings Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver to deadlines Desirable: Familiarity with Dynamics CRM 365, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Power BI Experience working in a matrix or multi-disciplinary environment Useful and Additional Information This is a hybrid role based in our Birmingham office 1-2 days per week.
