Sterile Services Technician – Circle Decontamination, Radlett
Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, permanent. Salary up to £28,705.43 per year, dependent on experience, training and qualification.
Overview
The Circle Health Group Decontamination unit supplies sterile equipment and instrumentation for surgical and interventional procedures across England and Glasgow. The unit operates 24/7 with rotating shifts covering days and nights as required.
Duties of this Role
* Provide a first‑class decontamination sterile service to operating theatres, clinical departments and relevant paramedical departments.
* Assist in the decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation and delivery of medical and surgical equipment and sundry items.
* Maintain good working relationships with all customers.
* Promote and maintain health and safety within the department.
* Ensure all equipment meets safety standards, reporting any faults to the team leader or manager.
* Support team leaders in liaising with departments to maintain supply of items.
* Uphold accepted health and safety requirements for the protection of staff and visitors.
* Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
