New Directions Education is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in Liverpool. The Role:
4. Deliver engaging, high-quality Science lessons that inspire curiosity and a love of learning.
5. Support students’ progress across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and ideally Key Stage 5), adapting teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs.
6. Build positive, supportive relationships with students and colleagues, promoting high standards of behaviour, respect, and engagement.
7. Contribute to wider school life, including extra-curricular activities, clubs, and school initiatives that enrich students’ learning experiences.
The Ideal Candidate:
8. Qualified to teach Science at secondary level (QTS or equivalent).
9. Experienced in delivering lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a passion for helping students succeed.
10. Committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and aspirational learning environment.
11. Willing to complete an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service if not already in place.
12. Able to provide references covering at least the last 5 years of employment or study.
