We are working on behalf of a well-established and respected UK-based manufacturing company that is looking to appoint a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. Role Overview:
As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal quality standards and comply with industry requirements. You’ll play a key role in identifying quality issues and contributing to ongoing improvements across production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect products to assess quality, appearance, and conformity with specifications
* Identify and report any defects or inconsistencies
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, findings, and test results
* Support sampling and testing procedures to verify quality and safety
* Work closely with production and technical teams to resolve quality issues
* Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards
* Assist with training new staff in quality procedures and expectations
Candidate Requirements:
We’re looking for individuals who have a strong eye for detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and experience in a manufacturing environment.
Essential:
* Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role, ideally within manufacturing
* Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control methods
* Understanding of manufacturing processes and technical specifications
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Experience using an ERP system to log quality data
* Strong teamwork and communication skills
* Able to manage workloads in a fast-paced environment

Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
