Team Leader Role Description Our Team Leaders are highly enthusiastic, personable, and possess strong and proven customer service skills. They are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure an outstanding experience for both guests and team members. Team Leaders are the driving force throughout each shift, supporting the Head Baker and guiding the team. They lead by example and are key contributors to a positive, fun, and proactive work environment. Key Responsibilities: Operations ? Drive team efficiency during opening, changeover, and closing the site. ? Assist with stock takes and ordering lists on a weekly basis. ? Routinely check cleanliness and stock levels during open, changeover, and close. ? Ensure the tent is organised, including cupboards, shelves, and storage units. ? Adhere to and maintain all food and health and safety standards. ? Problem-solve in difficult situations, seeking extra assistance from managers when needed. ? Report summaries of the day’s events using the team communication channel, Slack. ? Regularly provide updates, ideas, and feedback to the site manager. Guest Experience ? Take responsibility for welcoming and seeing off guests in an engaging manner. ? Circulate throughout the site during daily events, interacting with guests to contribute to an enjoyable and social environment. ? Support and offer encouragement and creative hints & tips to customers. ? Handle guest enquiries and feedback with a friendly and professional approach. Team Leadership ? Ensure all assistants understand their roles and support less experienced team members. ? Lead by example and drive efficiency throughout the shift. ? Train new team members. ? Provide feedback to team members on performance, improvement areas, and conduct issues like lateness or personal phone use during shifts. Working Conditions You’ll be part of our fantastic team at our Liverpool site, working shifts scheduled between Monday and Sunday. We’re looking for someone who enjoys engaging with large groups and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. As this is a hospitality-based role, you’ll be on your feet and active, from carrying ingredients and equipment to welcoming guests and guiding them through their experience.
