Overview
Internal Applicants only. Shifts flexible covering 4 or 5 shifts over 7 days. An opportunity has arisen for an individual to join the Acute Pain Service Clinical Nurse Specialist Team. The post holder will be able to demonstrate a level of experience in pain management techniques within a surgical setting as a Registered Nurse, with an in-depth knowledge of pain management, including risks and complications.
Responsibilities
* Involved in developing and delivering formal and informal teaching and data feedback sessions as part of this role. A presentation will form part of the interview process.
* Involved in acute post-operative pain management, including experience with IV analgesia devices and Local Anaesthetic Infusions.
* Ensure involvement in teaching, data feedback, and ongoing education as part of the Acute Pain Service.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse with demonstrated experience in pain management techniques within a surgical setting.
* Interest in acute post-operative pain management including experience in IV analgesia devices and Local Anaesthetic Infusions.
* Completion of the IV Drug Administration course.
* Ability to deliver teaching and participate in data feedback sessions; a presentation will form part of the interview process.
