About Us
We're a leading B2B horticultural media brand trusted by growers, suppliers, manufacturers, and professionals across the commercial growing sector.
Our mission is to deliver high‑value industry insight, market intelligence, and authoritative editorial that helps UK growers make informed decisions.
We're now looking for a motivated, commercially minded Publication Manager who wants the freedom to shape a growing brand, deepen advertiser relationships, and drive both revenue and editorial success.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who loves owning a product, building relationships, and creating commercial opportunities. As Publication Manager, you'll be the driving force behind both the editorial vision and the publication's sales performance.
You'll work closely with advertisers, suppliers, contributors, and partners—giving you a direct hand in growing revenue, influencing industry conversations, and expanding the magazine's market presence.
It's a dynamic, varied role with genuine autonomy and the chance to make a visible impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and grow relationships with advertisers, suppliers, and industry decision‑makers
* Take ownership of advertising inventory, sales opportunities, and revenue growth
* Spot new commercial trends, product opportunities, and revenue streams
* Collaborate closely with designers, writers, and the wider team to deliver high‑quality issues
* Lead the full production cycle of each issue—from planning to final publication
What We're Looking For
* Experience in sales, publishing, media, or account management (B2B/horticulture an advantage but not essential)
* Confident working with commercial partners and comfortable opening new business conversations
* Strong communicator and relationship‑builder
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
* Proactive, self‑driven, and commercially aware
Why Join Us?
* Opportunity to influence and shape the direction of a respected B2B publication
* Collaborative and supportive team
* Role with both creative and commercial scope
* A chance to work at the heart of a thriving, innovative industry
