We are looking for a Risk and Governance Manager because a s our services grow, we need a dedicated leader to strengthen our governance, protect our patients, and ensure we stay ahead of regulatory and ISO requirements. This role is crucial in driving a proactive risk culture, managing PSIRFaligned complaints, and giving our teams the clarity and assurance they need to deliver safe, highquality care every time. Your work will directly safeguard our reputation, support our clinicians, and keep our organisation auditready and futureready. Salary: £50,000 Location: Remote or Hybrid if preferred Permanent contract offering full time 40 hours per week Mon-Fri As Risk and Governance Manager for IPRS Health you will join a supportive, valuesdriven Quality & Clinical Governance team where you'll lead risk, compliance and PSIRFaligned complaints across MSK and Mental Health services. You'll shape safer care, strengthen our governance systems and work collaboratively with passionate colleagues to drive learning, assurance and continuous improvement across the organisation. As Risk and Governance Manager for IPRS Health you will join a supportive, valuesdriven Quality & Clinical Governance team where you'll lead risk, compliance and PSIRFaligned complaints across MSK and Mental Health services. You'll shape safer care, strengthen our governance systems and work collaboratively with passionate colleagues to drive learning, assurance and continuous improvement across the organisation. Your success will directly elevate the safety, quality and credibility of our MSK and Mental Health services. By embedding robust risk, governance and PSIRFaligned processes, you will reduce organisational risk, strengthen assurance to the SLT, and drive meaningful learning that improves patient experience. Your leadership will empower teams, enhance regulatory readiness and ultimately protect the people we care for. Responsibilities As a Risk and Governance Manager for IPRS Health, key responsibilities will be to: Lead the organisationwide risk management framework and maintain robust risk registers across MSK and Mental Health services. Oversee regulatory and ISO compliance, ensuring services remain auditready and aligned with GDPR, H&S and contractual requirements. Manage and enhance the complaints process in line with PSIRF, supporting investigations, responses and learning. Develop, review and embed policies, procedures and SOPs across quality, governance, risk and compliance. Design and deliver corporate and ISO audit programmes, mock inspections and readiness reviews. Produce highquality governance, risk, compliance and complaints reports for internal groups and the Senior Leadership Team. Provide expert training, advice and support to clinical and operational teams, promoting a strong riskaware and learning culture. Lead the Quality Assurance Group and contribute to organisationwide improvement and assurance initiatives. Who we are looking for Anyone and everyone is welcome to apply to work for IPRS Health. We are looking for our new Risk and Governance Manager to have : Strong background in governance, quality, risk and complaints within private healthcare or the NHS. Experience leading complex complaints investigations and delivering PSIRFaligned processes. Proven ability to write, implement and embed governance and risk policies across an organisation. Skilled in developing and training others on risk registers, complaints handling, auditing and assurance. Solid knowledge of ISO standards, auditing practice and duty of candour requirements. Demonstrated leadership capability with the confidence to influence and support clinical and operational teams. Excellent written communication skills, including drafting detailed complaint responses. Adaptable, assertive and highly organised, with a practical, solutionfocused approach. Selfmotivated, dependable and dedicated to improving safety, quality and organisational performance To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following: Qualifications: Healthcare experience. Clinical Governance, Quality Assurance and Improvement training. Complaints management experience. Risk management qualification/experience. Evidence of PSIRF training/experience. ISO auditing qualification/experience. Experience: Demonstrable experience in governance, clinical governance, quality, risk and complaints within private healthcare or the NHS. Experience developing, writing, implementing and embedding governance and risk policies organisationwide. Strong experience managing complex complaint investigations and complaint processes. Experience producing and training others on risk registers, audits and assurance reporting. Proven experience drafting highquality complaint responses. Demonstrated experience of PSIRF implementation and practice. Strong working knowledge of ISO regulation and auditing. Knowledge: Deep understanding of governance and assurance frameworks in healthcare. Knowledge of national policies, standards and requirements relating to quality of patient care. Knowledge of duty of candour requirements. Understanding of contractual, regulatory and inspection standards within MSK and/or Mental Health services (desirable). Familiarity with private healthcare and/or remote/digital service models (desirable). Skills: Effective leadership and the ability to influence across clinical and operational teams. Ability to train others confidently in governance, risk, complaints and auditing. Strong written communication, particularly in producing complaint responses and formal reports. Excellent organisational, analytical and problemsolving skills. Adaptable, assertive and capable of working independently. Compassionate, fair and patientcentred in handling complaints.
