Role: Chemistry Lecturer
Location: West Yorkshire
Contract Type: Temporary (Full-Time)
Rate: 28.50 - 37.50 per hour
Eden Brown are seeking an enthusiastic Chemistry Lecturer to deliver BTEC Applied Science courses at a Further Education College in West Yorkshire.
This is a full-time temporary position to start Monday 3rd November for ongoing cover.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality teaching across BTEC Applied Science (Chemistry pathway).
* Prepare engaging lessons and practical sessions that meet curriculum standards.
* Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
* Contribute to the planning and development of course materials and assessments.
* Maintain accurate records in line with college and awarding body requirements.
Requirements
* A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
* A degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject.
* Proven experience delivering BTEC Applied Science at Levels 2 and/or 3.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* A commitment to promoting a positive learning environment and student success.
* Candidates must have a current DBS in place.
