Qualifications:
* Active Virginia Teaching License or eligibility
* Previous experience working in an Adaptive Self-Contained classroom
* Strong understanding of special education services and regulations
* Ability to collaborate effectively with instructional assistants and other staff
* Skills in developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
Location:
Woodbridge, VA
Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement tailored lesson plans for students with varying needs
* Collaborate with instructional assistants to provide comprehensive support
* Assess and document student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
* Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment
* Communicate regularly with students, parents, and staff regarding student development
