Summary of the Role
We help financial services organisations – banks, insurance companies, FMIs, wealth and asset managers, and fintechs – to change and adapt to the environment in which they operate. This 12‑month secondment / FTC covers maternity leave and focuses on leading Organisation Design workstreams on complex, business‑critical programmes.
Responsibilities
* Scope, price and design our approach for a particular client (with support from a Partner or Director), and then lead delivery of this work.
* Lead/support business development and grow revenues from the existing work portfolio.
* Use leading‑practice problem‑solving methodologies to address client issues and structure projects.
* Work and collaborate with colleagues from other service lines such as technology, finance, customer or analytics.
* Lead high‑quality analysis that combines KPMG expertise and market insight with quantitative and qualitative analysis.
* Act as a main client interface, providing effective, credible, and timely communications with clients.
* Generate thought leadership, drive knowledge sharing and develop consulting skills within our team.
* Develop the team culture, inspiring and empowering team members and supporting their career development.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience
* Deep expertise in Organisational Design, including role definition, objectives & KPIs, ways of working, hierarchical design, cost modelling, grading, and people transition planning. Experience with agile contexts and Org Vue is desirable.
* Strong appreciation of behavioural change techniques – leadership alignment, case for change, stakeholder management, sequencing, communication, engagement, impact assessment, and planning people transition. For technology implementation, user‑adoption experience is valued.
* Preferred candidates have capability across both Change and OD, or deep specialists in OD.
* Understanding of the financial services environment and experience in consulting projects within the sub‑sectors listed above.
* As a Senior Manager, experience in consulting at a recognised professional services or global consultancy firm, or in‑house consulting, is required. Leadership of other consultants is expected.
* Strong influence, communication and client‑relationship skills – comfortable with C‑suite or senior senior-level stakeholders, strong writing, PowerPoint, Excel, and working face‑to‑face and via Teams.
* Collaborative mindset – ability to share knowledge, support colleagues and win together.
* A strong sense of curiosity – motivated to research the client’s business and inclined to keep up with industry trends and share insights.
