An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced lettings professional to join a busy Watford Estate Agency as an Assistant Lettings Manager / Valuer. This role focuses on generating new business, supporting branch performance, and maintaining high service standards.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone currently operating at Senior Negotiator level or above: this position offers the chance to step into a more senior, revenue-generating role within a supportive and professional environment.
What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities):
* Generating and conducting lettings appraisals
* Winning new instructions and supporting portfolio growth
* Prospecting for new business and increasing local market presence
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords and applicants
* Supporting daily lettings activity within the branch
* Maximising income through cross-selling additional services
* Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and regulations
* Delivering consistently high levels of customer service
What We're Looking For (Skills & Experience):
* Previous experience within the residential lettings industry is essential
* Experience at Senior Negotiator or similar level preferred
* Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Well-organised with the ability to manage a varied workload
* Commercially aware with a proactive approach to winning business
* Full UK driving licence essential
* Professional, confident manner with strong relationship-building ability
