Our Employee Benefits Consultancy team sits within Grant Thornton UK’s Advisory & Tax LLP. We support businesses in designing and managing employee benefits strategies that attract, retain, and engage talent—while aligning with company culture and financial goals. From group risk and healthcare to pensions and wellbeing, we deliver tailored, tax-efficient solutions that make a real difference to our clients and their people.

A look into the role
As an Employee Benefits Executive within our team, you will:
1. Support the delivery of employee benefits consulting services across a portfolio of corporate clients.
2. Coordinate and manage group risk (life, income protection, critical illness), healthcare (PMI, dental, cash plans), and pension schemes.
3. Conduct scheme renewals, including data gathering, analysis, and market reviews.
4. Prepare client reports, benefit comparisons, and renewal documentation.
5. Resolve client and employee queries, ensuring high levels of service and compliance.
Knowing you’re right for us
Joining us as an Employee Benefits Executive, the minimum criteria you’ll need is experience in employee benefits consulting or administration, ideally within a professional services or brokerage setting.
It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box—we’ll help you develop along the way:
6. Knowledge of group risk, healthcare, and pensions, and the broader employee benefits landscape.
7. Strong client communication and relationship-building skills.
8. Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools.
9. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
10. Experience working with third-party providers and insurers.
