General Practice Surveyor - Commercial Property
Location:
This role covers the East Midlands, including Leicestershire, Rutland, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire. Hybrid working is available from regional professional services hubs or from home.
Salary:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience) plus a discretionary bonus scheme
Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Chartered Surveyor and Registered Valuer to join a well-established and growing commercial property team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a wide range of formal valuation reports, alongside providing professional landlord and tenant advice to a diverse client base.
This is a key role within the team, offering the chance to contribute significantly to the continued growth and success of the business across valuation and professional services.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver valuation reports in line with client instructions and RICS Red Book standards
* Provide expert landlord and tenant advice
* Ensure full compliance with relevant industry regulations
* Liaise regularly with commercial property management teams
* Report directly to senior leadership within the commercial department
Essential Requirements
* MRICS
* Minimum of 2 years post‑qualification experience (PQE)
* Clean driving license
Experience & Key Attributes
Proven experience valuing a range of property types
Demonstrated experience in landlord and tenant matters
* Strong report writing skills with excellent attention to detail
* Good knowledge of the Midlands property market
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
