Delivery Manager – 12‑Month Fixed Term Contract
Location: Newquay (1 day per week on-site)
Salary: £45,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Delivery Manager looking for your next challenge? Are you able to travel to Cornwall and work on-site for one day a week?
We are looking to recruit a skilled Delivery Manager to support major IT transformation projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward‑thinking digital environment and play a key role in driving meaningful change.
About the Role
As Delivery Manager, you’ll oversee the successful delivery of IT change initiatives from start to finish. You’ll lead and support a diverse, multi‑skilled team, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
You’ll work with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods, acting either as a Scrum Master for Agile teams or as a classic Project Manager for Waterfall projects. You’ll also coordinate procurement activities, manage risk, maintain quality standards, and collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of IT change projects
* Manage multi-disciplinary project teams and develop high‑performing team culture
* Oversee procurement, supplier management and budget tracking
* Maintain quality, risk, and change control processes
* Produce project plans, progress updates and governance reports
* Support Agile ceremonies (for Agile projects) and coach teams in Scrum, Kanban & SAFe
* Remove blockers and ensure smooth project flow
* Collaborate across departments to ensure successful project outcomes
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
* Degree or equivalent experience
* Project Management or Agile certification (Prince2, PMQ, PMP, SAFe Scrum Master etc.)
* Proven experience delivering IT projects
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to balance priorities and manage multiple stakeholders
* Experience working with third‑party suppliers
Desirable:
* ITIL Foundation
* Experience line‑managing other Project Managers
* Domain experience within similar IT/digital environments
