Pertemps is currently recruiting for a Stores Person to join a leading engineering company based in Andover. This is a temporary ongoing role.
Responsibilities as a Stores Person:
1. Primarily look after the stores department
2. Maintaining stock levels
3. Placing orders
4. Selecting parts for engineering and customer orders
5. Preparing quotes
6. General admin tasks supporting paperwork
7. Contacting couriers
8. Supporting various departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Requirements:
1. Knowledge of engineering is beneficial
2. Ability to work under pressure
3. Excellent organizational skills
4. Must be available immediately
5. SAP experience is beneficial
The Role:
1. Working 3 days a week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 4:00 pm finish on Friday
2. The position may become full-time, with potential to work Tuesdays and Thursdays
3. Pay rate: GBP 12.21 - GBP 13.00 per hour, depending on experience
4. Temporary ongoing position with the opportunity to go permanent
