Our client is looking to appoint a Field Service Engineer to join an existing team, responsible for upholding the exceptional levels of service to thousands of customers. With specialist manufacturer knowledge you will be comfortable to fault find on a variety of machines, youll have experience of connecting to customer networks and troubleshooting to minimise downtime. Youll also be used to following individual KPIs and working with other stakeholders across the business with the customer in mind. This role is to cover the Inverness, Highlands and Islands region, so ideally you'llbe based around this area.

Job Description:
Diagnostic and Repair
* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults.
* Perform repairs on mechanical and electronic components in accordance with the Mandatory Call Procedure.
* Replace defective parts with new or refurbished ones.
* Conduct thorough testing to ensure proper functioning post-repair.
* Update firmware and software as required, so IT knowledge will be an advantage.
Quality Control
* Perform final quality checks on refurbishments.
* Communicate with customers to provide an effective post call summary of faults, necessary repairs/parts along with clear timescales.
* Ensure all replacement parts meet company standards and customer expectations.
* Maintain accurate repair records of repairs.
Inventory Management
* Manage and maintain inventory of spare parts, car stock and tools.
* Order new parts as needed to maintain stock levels.
* Track usage and report any discrepancies.
Health and Safety
* Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Documentation and Reporting
* Document all work performed.
* Provide detailed reports on completed refurbishments and repairs.
* Maintain logs of parts used and time spent on each task.
* Signal any sales opportunities to the relevant Sales team.
