Reception Teacher – High Wycombe
Full-Time | January Start
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a friendly and supportive primary school in High Wycombe who are seeking a dedicated Reception Teacher to join their team from January.
This is a full-time position (5 days per week) with full planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for a Reception class, delivering engaging, play-based learning in line with the EYFS framework.
The Role:
* Full-time Reception teaching role (Monday–Friday)
* Full planning, preparation, and assessment responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality EYFS provision, including phonics and early literacy
* Create a nurturing, inclusive, and well-structured learning environment
* Track and assess pupil progress in line with EYFS expectations
* Work collaboratively with EYFS colleagues and support staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching in Reception / EYFS
* Have a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
* Be confident delivering phonics and early reading
* Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management
* Be committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
