About the Role
At 1st Homecare, we treat our staff with the same respect, care, and consideration that we offer to the people we support.
As a Support Worker, you will visit several individuals in their homes during each shift, assisting with a wide range of daily tasks, including: Personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) Meal preparation and serving Medication prompts and administration Catheter care Companionship and emotional support
Each day brings variety, and no two service users are the same. You'll play a vital role in helping people maintain their independence, health, and well-being.
Shift Pattern
Our full-time support worker rota follows a two-week repeating pattern: Week 1:
Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday 7:00am-2:00pm & 4:00pm-10:00pm (split shift) - 40 hours Week 2:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:00am-2:00pm & 4:00pm-10:00pm (split shift) - 30 hours
Please note:
If you do not live in the East Ayrshire area, you must be a driver to be considered for this position due to travel requirements.

regulated work with vulnerable adults, as defined by the
Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. A PVG check will be required for all successful applicants.
