Afast-growingandinnovativedesign-and-buildspecialistisseekinganElectricalDesignEngineertojointheirexpandinginternaldesignteam.
Thisroleplaysakeypartinthetechnicaldesignandspecificationofelectricalsystemsforcommercialandindustrialfit-outprojects,supportingthebusinessscontinuedgrowthanddeliveryofhigh-qualitysolutions.
KeyResponsibilities
* Leadtheelectricaldesignandspecificationforarangeoffit-outandrefurbishmentprojects.
* Producedetailedtechnicaldrawingsandschematicsforpowerdistribution,lighting,firedetection,andalarmsystems.
* Collaboratecross-functionallywithpre-construction,operations,andprojectdeliveryteamstoensureallelectricaldesignsarealignedwithclientandprojectrequirements.
* Develophigh-leveldrawingsthatarefunctional,compliant,andcost-efficient,adheringtocurrentBuildingRegulationsandindustrystandards.
* Applytechnicalknowledgetodesignelectricalsystemsforcommercialfacilitiesandindustrialenvironments.
* Liaisewithelectricalcontractorsandexternalsupplierstorefineandimplementdesignsolutions.
* Considercostefficiencyandvalueengineeringinalldesigndecisions.
* Ensureallfinaldesignsarefullycompliantwithrelevantbuilding,electrical,andsafetyregulations.
* UtiliseBIM(Revit)andotherspecialistsoftwaretodevelopaccurate,coordinatedelectricalsystemdesigns.
Experience&SkillsRequired
* ProficiencyinRevitandBIMdesigntools.
* Demonstrableexperienceproducingdetailedelectricalschematicsandlayoutsforcommercialorindustrialprojects.
* Strongunderstandingofconstructionprocessesandhowtheyintegratewithtechnicaldesign.
* Excellentattentiontodetailandaproactiveapproachtoproblem-solving.
* Strongcommunicationskills,withtheabilitytoexplainandcoordinatecomplextechnicalinformationeffectively.
