Overview
Internal Sales Engineer – Location: Aberdeen, Scotland / Hybrid (with occasional travel to Manchester). This role sits within Integrity’s Internal Sales Engineer department, supporting the Endress+Hauser product portfolio while operating as part of our internal sales function.
Responsibilities
* Managing and pre-qualifying incoming customer enquiries from a technical and commercial perspective, including negotiation of terms
* Producing clear, accurate and timely quotations and proposals
* Actively use Salesforce.com and SAP to collaborate on and manage business opportunities
* Maintaining and managing the sales pipeline, including forecasting dates and probabilities from opportunity through to order
* Working closely with internal teams to develop and improve customer performance
* Owning and managing customer accounts, including CRM and database maintenance
* Continuously developing product knowledge through in-house training
* Promoting digital sales platforms and tools
* Liaising with colleagues across the business to ensure excellent customer service
* Identifying and developing cross-selling opportunities
Qualifications
* Educated to technical degree level or equivalent relevant industry qualification (advantageous)
* Experience within an engineering environment; instrumentation and automation experience desirable but not essential
* Previous sales experience within an engineering or technical environment
* Excellent communication skills, with confidence using telephone and digital platforms such as Microsoft Teams
* Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and operate effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable with a consultative sales approach and effective questioning techniques
