We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Management position to lead system change through the position of permanent Multi-disciplinary Team Manager covering the dual roles of Birmingham AMHP HUB Team Manager and Lead AMHP for Training and Professional Development.
A brief summary of the position is as follows:
Team Manager Mental Health HUB and Lead AMHP – you will manage the day to day operational elements of the AMHP HUB managing two Senior Practitioners who will oversee the allocation of s13a requests. A key element of the role will be to take lead operational responsibility for the completion of the team of Approved Mental Health Practitioners (AMHP) including compliance with training and competence requirements, including back fill to the rota at peak times and managing the AMHP HUB.
Within this position you will be required to hold AMHP approval status within the last 2 years and demonstrate continual professional development as an AMHP.
You will support with the continuing development of the transformation of mental health, s117 and partnership working with system partners and citizens. The Team Manager/AMHP Lead role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities that are integral to effective partnership working across the City.
