* Write research plans for, and conduct user research for a specific product, service or programme
* Undertake quantitative research activities such as questionnaire design and analysis of quantitative data.
* Undertake qualitative research activities such as interview design, moderation, usability testing, facilitating workshops, contextual enquiry, co‑design, ethnographic research.
* Synthesize and present research findings to non‑research colleagues.

Earlier this year, the Government announced that NHS England will gradually merge with the Department of Health and Social Care, leading to full integration. The aim is to create a smaller, more strategic centre that reduces duplication and eliminates waste.
