This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a highly autonomous role where you’ll have real influence over category direction and the freedom to make a tangible impact.

Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing category strategies across major grocery retail accounts
* Acting as the category expert, using data and shopper insights to influence internal and external stakeholders
* Building strong, credible relationships with retail partners
* Delivering compelling category reviews and supporting joint business plans
* Collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and NPD teams to bring innovation to market
* Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and shopper behaviour to identify opportunities
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in a Category Manager or Senior Category Analyst role within an FMCG food manufacturer (or closely aligned environment)
* Strong understanding of the UK grocery landscape
* Commercially minded with a track record of driving category growth
* Confident presenting to and influencing retail customers
* Strong analytical capability with experience using tools such as Nielsen, IRI, or Kantar
* Self-starter who thrives with autonomy and accountability
Why Join?
* High level of ownership within a growing food manufacturing business
* Clear and genuine progression opportunities as the business continues to scale
* Strong, supportive leadership team and collaborative culture
* Hybrid working (Manchester office 2 days per week)
* Competitive package: £63,000 + bonus + car allowance
