Job Overview
Permanent, Part‑time (28.8 hours a week over 52 weeks a year).
This role provides administrative support to the Apprenticeship Group Unit and Apprenticeship staff at South Thames Colleges Group.
Responsibilities
* Liaise with Apprenticeship staff and cross‑college services on apprentice and staff matters and manage enquiries and administration tasks relating to apprenticeships and curriculum.
* Provide effective and flexible support for ad‑hoc business tasks and events such as those linked to enrolment, progression, and admissions within each college.
* Work as part of a team to deliver tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
* Travel to and work from any South Thames Colleges Group site as required.
* Assist with due diligence checks on prospective employees, including enhanced DBS checks, reference checks, online searches, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum education to Level 3.
* Experience providing strong administrative support within an apprenticeship setting.
* Excellent attention to detail, ability to meet targets, and build relationships across teams.
* Strong communication skills and high level of computer literacy.
* Ability to organise, prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
