Job Title: SEMH Teacher – Secondary
Contract: Full-time, Long-Term / Permanent
Start Date: Immediate

We’re working with a specialist school supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They’re looking for a calm, resilient, and inspiring teacher who can help young people thrive—both inside and outside the classroom.


What you’ll be doing:

* Teaching across KS3/KS4 with a focus on personalised learning
* Creating engaging, supportive lessons tailored to pupils’ needs
* Building strong, trusting relationships with young people
* Working closely with TAs, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide holistic support
* Helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and the skills to succeed beyond school

What we’re looking for:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience working with SEMH or challenging behaviour (mainstream or specialist)
* Strong behaviour management and a nurturing approach
* Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
