Registered Veterinary Nurse - Small Animal role at IVC Evidensia UK. We have an exciting opportunity to be a part of a new way at Dave Cumber; we are looking for a qualified RVN to join our friendly and growing team. Our RVNs cover a variety of general nursing duties, primarily across surgery, inpatient care and consults for a range of small animal health conditions and preventative care. In addition to routine procedures, we also perform laparoscopic spays and have laser therapy facilities. We actively encourage development and progression within the team, and you will be supported by our leadership team in exploring any key interests or with the development of your role. The opportunity to complete further training and certificates is accessible and encouraged for those interests. We thrive on providing a high level of care to our patients and clients. We are very lucky to have a purpose-built premises with modern and wide-ranging equipment. We have a well-equipped internal laboratory, two digital x-ray machines, 2 dental suites with x-ray facilities, endoscopy, laparoscopic surgical equipment, 2 ultrasound machines and 5 operating theatres.
Location
Weymouth offers a Blue Flag winning Weymouth Beach and a Jurassic coastline. The area features a harbour and notable landmarks such as Nothe Fort, with easy access to the Jurassic Coast on our doorstep.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week, with a mixture of early (8:00am–5:00pm) and late (9:00am–6:00pm / 10:00am–7:00pm) shifts on a rotating basis. The rota is planned at least 13 weeks in advance, with the Saturday rota scheduled for the entire year. You’ll take part in the Saturday rota (8:00am–4:30pm), which currently works out as 2 in 16 Saturdays.

 * Experience in small animal practice is desirable
